Our Delivery Service explained


Delivery information:

  • Free delivery on all orders over £449
  • We currently offer standard delivery via Courier.
  • Standard delivery is £19.99.
  • Standard delivery time ranges from 3 to 14 working days.
  • Delivery time may extend depending on the quantity of flooring ordered.
  • We are shipping as normal but sometimes unforeseen circumstances can cause short delays in the delivery of your order.


Where we currently deliver to:

  • We currently deliver to addresses in South Wales within these postcode areas:  CF (all)  NP (all, except NP7, 8,15,16 & 25) and we also deliver to Swansea postcodes ( SA1, 2,10,11,12 & 13)
  • We are looking to expand our delivery service into other areas. Keep checking back as we will update in due course.

 

Pre-Delivery:

  • After you've placed your order, you will receive an order confirmation by email.
  • Once we have processed your order for delivery, we will send you email confirmation and invoice for your order. This will also confirm your estimated delivery date.


Day of delivery

  • On the day of delivery, you may receive a text message, confirming that your order is out for delivery along with an estimated time of arrival. Your delivery driver should also give you a call prior to delivery, so please make sure your contact information is correct.

Please note; we recommend booking your fitter once you have received and checked your order, so that in the unlikely event of a hiccup, you will not be inconvenienced.

 

Receiving your delivery:

  • Delivery is a one-man delivery, and the delivery driver may require assistance for larger items.  
  • Delivery is to your external front door. If you live in a flat or apartment unfortunately the driver cannot deliver up flights of stairs. The driver may only be able to deliver your order to the nearest ground floor access point, which may be the kerbside. 
  • You will be required to sign for your order and the driver will take a proof of delivery photo. Please ensure that your goods are inspected for damage prior to signature. 
  • Please make sure that you have adequate help available for heavy deliveries. Drivers may sometimes be able to assist with deliveries but this is at their own discretion and is not part of our delivery service. Drivers are not insured to enter your premises.

Please note: We take no responsibility/liability for missing/damaged goods if authorised to be left. 

 

How your order is delivered:

Deliveries are made ‘kerbside’. It is the recipient’s responsibility to handle the products. For larger products, we recommend planning ahead and arranging assistance, especially if you are receiving products that are heavy or if your order is for a room not on the ground floor. Please note that this applies to flats, tower blocks, high-rises, etc.

 

Condition of Goods:

Faulty Goods: In the unlikely event you receive faulty, missing, or incorrect goods, please contact us ASAP.

Your Responsibility: As the customer and recipient of your purchased products, it is your responsibility to ensure that all products are in perfect condition before use.

CESC Carpets cannot accept any claims for damaged or faulty products once they have been used or fitted. The use or fitting of the products will be considered as proof that you, the buyer or your agent, have accepted that the products are in perfect condition.
